Did you hear the scoop? July is National Ice Cream Month!
Is it Sundae Funday?
Promenade residents, it’s time to chill out! President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month. Reagan, too, declared National Ice Cream Day as the third Sunday in the month. (Ice cream is a great way to beat the summer heat, after all.)
Besides, Baltimoreans should especially celebrate National Ice Cream Month. Maryland Governor William Bladen mentioned the icy treat in a 1744 letter to a friend. This is the first known appearance of ice cream within the United States. Scoop, there it is!
Now, here’s where you can get the best ice cream in Baltimore.
