MDWMemorial Day weekend is right around the corner!

It’s About Time for Summer to Start Again
Memorial Day is annually observed on the last Monday in May. This year, the holiday falls on May 30th. As a day of remembrance, Memorial Day honors those who have served in the military. Since Memorial Day is a federal holiday, we can also look forward to a 3-day weekend!

Memorial Day Weekend is popular with travel, so airports might be crowded. And, don’t even get us started on the traffic. However, it can be nice to stay in Baltimore for the long weekend.

Anything Is Possible This Weekend
Here’s how to spend Memorial Day weekend in Baltimore:

May Flowers Spring Ride
Bike parties are always amazing and the May Flowers Spring Ride is amazing. The Baltimore Bike Party is meeting up in St. Mary’s Park on Friday, May 27th at 6:30 p.m., then rolling out at 7:00 p.m. Make sure to decorate your bike with flowers, lights, and anything else spring-related.

Brew at the Zoo
Brew at the Zoo is one of Baltimore’s biggest beer festivals. On Saturday, May 28th and Sunday, May 29th, patrons can visit the Maryland Zoo to sample 80+ brews; see the animals; listen to live music; and shop from local vendors.

Herb Fest
What in carnation? The Baltimore Herb Fest is on Saturday, May 28th at Leakin Park, from 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Tickets are only $7/person, and include plant/garden vendors, live music, and free rides on miniature steam trains.

Slay-Cation May @ Mobtown
Don’t worry, beach happy. Absolutely Dragulous is hosting a Drag Brunch at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 28th. The show begins at noon and food trucks will be nearby.

Succulent Building
The more you grow! B.Willow is partnering with Monument City Brewing on Sunday, May 29th from 4:00-5:00 p.m. For $50/person, patrons can enjoy a draft—or two—whilst planting some succulents.

BMI 2022 Farmers’ Market
The Baltimore Museum of Industry’s Farmers’ Market is running every Saturday. Vendors are selling fresh-baked bread, produce, flowers, and artisan products.

Get Crabby
No Memorial Day weekend in Baltimore would be complete without steamed crabs. Head to the Crab Deck at nearby Captain James to enjoy them on the water.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend
From the Promenade family to yours, we wish you a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend!
