There’s Nothing That a Few Deals Can’t Fix this Black Friday in Baltimore

  |     |   Uncategorized

‘Tis the season to go shopping in Baltimore this Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. Here at the Promenade, we’re encouraging residents to shop small and support local businesses.

Shopping Small Is Kind Of A BIG Deal
In 2010, American Express started the Small Business Saturday initiative to combat the effects of the 2008 financial crisis and recession. Just one year later, the Senate approved the commemoration of Small Business Saturday. Ever since, Small Business Saturday has been the day after Black Friday.

Celebrate Small Business Saturday by visiting a local coffee shop or restaurant and be sure to check out the following events. (They’re anything but small!)

Treat Yourself, or Get a Gift
Local vendors and shops will participate in this year’s Harbor East Holiday Haul, located just steps away from your home here at The Promenade. Finish your holiday shopping with live music, giveaways, and bites from James Joyce Irish Pub from 11:00-4:00 p.m.

Fell’s Point is celebrating Black Friday at Max’s Taphouse. Sample Baltimore’s largest beer and draft selection in pours. They’re open from 11:30-10:30 p.m.

Inner Harbor’s Christmas Village will be open on Friday from 11:00-8:00 p.m. More than 55 vendors will be there, and patrons will be able to try some of the best European dishes.
